New Camera Canon D10

I got a new point and shoot camera a couple of weeks ago. Its a Canon D10 - waterproof to 33 feet, drop resistant to 4 feet, freeze proof to something like -4, image stabilization, video at 640X480 and 30 frames per second, and 12 megapixel.

So far its doing pretty good. And yes, its "really" water proof. I had my daughter take it swimming with her just to make sure. It even films video underwater.

I wanted something that I could take fishing with me, take to the deer lease on those cold wet winter days, or hiking - and not have to worry about it.

I'll get some pictures posted pretty soon.

I was playing around with the macro settings yesterday, and its all automatic. My tomato plants have tomatoes on them. So I was going to take some pictures, got in close and the camera switched to macro automatically. Which I thought was pretty cool.

Talking D10 Canon,

Hi, Im from malaysia,
Just got a new D10 it is marvelous.
Trying out the camera in my condo swimming pool. is nice and clear.

I will be visiting an island Redang, try out the camera in the sea. will post some new sea picture soon.

Anyway any of you have any new tips and tricks?

Tricks - change the start up picture of your own in the preview function - menu seek for start up screen.

Tips - after use in the pool or sea wash over with clear water and soak in the pile of clear water for 2 hour to purfied the salt in it. preventing it from rust.
