I was about 5 feet from him - that drop of water on the left is from a water hose. I was watering a plant when he jumped out. I tried to move closer but he would move around. - So I went inside and got the camera and a 250mm lens.

I didn't know he had a face like that until I emptied my card on to the computer - and when I saw it I busted up laughing. I didn't know grasshoppers had mouths like that. LOL.

That grasshopper is pretty disgusting. All animals are. I especially hate looking at them up close like this.
It's a nice picture though. You took it? That's something I'd like to get into. I need a camera first though. lol
And yes, that's a hell of a lot of teeth, if that's actually what it is.
