Share Your Pet Photos
Some folks say that the pets you choose, tell a lot about who you are as a person. What do yours say about you? Tell us a little about your pets and share some pictures with us!
This is Taylor! We adopted her from a local rescue.
This is Babe. She adores my kid, but she bites me!
Of course that might have something to do with the fact that I almost accidentally decapitated her. I threaten to let Taylor play with her when she gets too noisy at night. (evil grin)
What do my pets tell about me as a person? Well, having a cat and a hamster in the same home is prolly a little weird, so yeah, that kind of fits me.

Here is Tiny-Baby, a feral rescue kitten we didn't expect to live through the night. Our whole family took shifts feeding her around the clock for several days. The "before" picture was taken 3 years ago. The "after" shot was from last month. After recovery she chose to go back outside and took up residence in an abandoned chicken coup, where her meals are delivered twice a day.

She so touches my heart! Thank you so very much for sharing her story with us. I am willing to bet she has been as much of a blessing in your life as you have in hers.

This is Marley. His breed is called a Healer. They make great seeing eye dogs, but this one is also called "lethal white" (term first used for horses). When this breed has too much white in their coloring, they can be blind, deaf, or both. Marley was born blind. In this photo he is happily chewing on a Pegetable (wonderful vegetable snack).
Here is Marley's story (sad beginning, but "happily ever after" ending).

Reading Marley's story made tears stream down my face. What an absolutely beautiful story. It kind of makes you believe in the goodness of people again, huh?

This isn't ours, but I thought you'd get a kick out of it. This photo won our contest prize at our 2007 Love Your Pet Expo. The cat and snake belong to our photographer. (This is one of the photos I wanted to make into a puzzle, but can't get Java to cooperate ).

You should see him in person. He is soooo happy to be alive and so thankful for his yard and his family, it's impossible not to fall in love with him, instantly.

Our Katie is a 6 year old husky/golden retriever mix who we adopted from our local SPCA. She is a real sweetie and loves everyone, especially kids.

This is our newest family member Cricket. She's the smallest dog we've ever had. We have 3 other dogs. A senior citizen and 2 monsters.
I loved Marley's story. It's wonderful that he has such a wonderful family and special friends. My first dog was a heeler and she was a very special companion.
You can read more about all of my loves on these two pages
Past and Present friends
The monsters get a page of their own!

I am so loving see the pets behind the people! It feels like we are getting a lil peek at who y'all are as people. I think maybe pet owners have softer hearts than most.

There is a very real possibility that my avatar may not be myself but quite well could be Taj the terrier, escape artist extraordinaire, great reptile hunter, and lover of laps.
Taj the Terror was saved from a life in jail after previous owners couldn't stop the little man's curiosity surfacing causing him to explore the neighborhood time and time again.
On holidays last year, left home alone in a holiday house while I went fishing for an hour, he managed to dig under a six foot fence and jump a four foot fence and trotted off to find me. I found him a couple of hours later a few blocks away looking sheepish and covered in prickles that had to be cut off. He managed to make me feel guilty.
My best mate.

I'd share pictures of Samantha ( a black and white female English Cocker Spaniel) and Charlie ( a red male American Cocker ); but, they no longer live, and, I've only film photos.
Ditto for the cats, Tigger, Piglet and Roo.

Look on the bright side -- at least Taj isn't a thief. Our son has a friend with a Jack Russell. Every day he'd look out in the back yard and see more stuff that didn't belong to him. There would be Bandit (appropriately named) looking perfectly innocent. Yes, the yard was fenced!
