Do you use the camera strap that came with your camera?
I just had a thought, what strap do you use with your camera?
After selling my old camera and getting the new one, I was on the hunt for a better strap. Hanging 5+ lbs of camera and lens on my neck got old REAL fast! After searching and reading reviews for quite some time, I finally picked up a BlackRapid RS-5 strap.
This thing is really cool! It is like a sling, as if you would be wearing a messenger bag. It is adjustable, and has storage for your phone, SD cards, etc. Recently though, I bought a BlackRapid RS-Sport and love it even more! It doesn't have the little storage pouch, but it is much slimmer and hardly noticable compared to the RS-5.
So, what do you guys use??

I don't really know which one it is. I got it as a gift for Christmas. I got my first DSLR just a short while before Christmas. It says Targus on it. Guess I will keep it until it breaks. Doesn't bother my neck, but then I have not put a Bronica on it either.
You should have a contest and give the winner the BlackRapid RS-5 strap. Tha might get some interest in the photography section.

I used my strap for about two days and then I found it was just getting in the way. I think I will buy one of these...
I did buy a camera bag which I though was way big but now that my accessories keep expanding I see it is not going to cut it. There was a nice camera bag on sale just after I bought my camera but I didn't bother because I figured Id never use anything that big.

Those hand straps are pretty cool! The only thing I didn't like about them was that it got old carrying it like that after a while and not to mention getting sweaty. It would probably be great though for casual shooting around town, etc. For me, I am typically shooting from four to twelve hours at a time. So that is why I say it doesn't work for me, but definitely not out of the question if it fits your needs!
I hear ya on the camera bag! I am on my third bag. The latest one is a ThinkTank bag. They are pricey, and I was gun shy before buying, but seriously.. they are built like a tank, and not to mention they are made by actual photographers, so they have very nice features many other bags don't!

I am not going to be using this skinny dude much longer. The old one won't work so I guess I will need to shop for a camera strap.

Wash it, sign it, and it could be a collectors item.

OOH so many buttons to fondle. No wonder you needed extra batteries.

I have two batteries on the way from ebay and just today I bought a battery grip that comes with two batteries as well. That will make 5 in all so I don't think I will run our of juice pressing buttons at night for much longer
edit: I just read this to myself and I realize that it just sounds so wrong

That is what we all thought when you said you were in bed playing with the buttons. But we try to be kind.

You will enjoy the battery grip! Especially if you have large hands!

I brought a new strap with my camera, i don't want to walk round with a bright Canon 5DMk2 piece of string round my neck. Calumet make some nice thick and padded straps.
