In the winter, its birds. In the summer, its the lotus flowers and birds. I think birds are interesting to photograph. I've noticed that you have to haves lot of patience waiting for them to stop flying.

Human facial to body motion expressions (sometimes I may not limit it to humans but also with animals). I'm fascinated with it especially with some irony taken from the background. Like an expression of a girl laughing with an unintentional background of sad billboard ads.

Also, facial expressions could tell a lot about a simple caption you put in a photo. Like a crying baby could make a simple story if you put a caption of "Milk?" into it.

MrSS photo subject

My favorite photography subject is child / children.
Because through them I can really see and feel true and real happiness and reflect our society.
There's always a pinch in my heart whenever I see that kind of photos.

I'd have to say automotive photography - why, well because I love cars! I know allot of people 'look down' on it but hey, each to their own!

My favorite subjects are cats (large and domestic). They're so graceful, and it's extremely rewarding every time I capture that grace and beauty in a shot.

I really like to photograph animals. To take that one step further, I really like to capture wildlife. I find that an animal in its natural habitat is a beautiful thing to behold, so being able to capture the essence of that, or to even come close, is a creative and fun thing to do.

I recently had the most amazing experience being able to see up close a humpback whale, on a whale watching tour, from a zodiac vessel. I was blown away by the sheer size, and majesty of the creature.

The photos I took don't do the whale justice but I still loved taking them.

I also love the unpredictability of animals, they can surprise you and give you a shot that you totally were not expecting to get.

I love landscapes! I've always enjoyed being outdoors. Being able to catch the landscape in a photograph means being able to share it with those that haven't been there.

Big fan of landscapes........you can watch the same scape over the span of a year and it changes......

I try to capture what I see as a little unusual....a dead tree on the edge of a stream or an unusual rock....

I also paint landscapes......some day to market on a website......if I can ever get enough time....LOL

And I like to snap wildlife........found a momma gator about eight feet long with a baby on her back......
Of course here in Florida...a never ending supply of birds.....my fav....the sand hill crane,,,,(they are in Texas too)......
And oceanscapes....we have one of those too.....

My new wife hollers at me because I do not take pictures of people....

I love to take photos of children, landscapes and architecture.

I love making "something out of nothing" when it comes to photography. Seeing a mundane scene and transforming it into something magical.

I find that landscapes (for me) never translate well into a photo - they always look flat and dull.

And of all the beeautifulll sunsets I've captured, none seem to leap from the page like the pageantry of being there. I guess I need to get some skills.

i like to shot common scenes/object that fit my absurd idea at the moment
example:
i shot the tissue box because i found a hidden face there
i shot a tile block half-covered by sands just to give it title "yin and yang"

some kind like that.

IDK, sometimes it depends on my mood. Nowdays I mostly take photos of landscapes at sunrise or sunset. It's the most peaceful time of the day for me, and also the most beautiful time of day. I also like shooting pics of the ocean near here. Its a long shot from any of the beaches near any major cities, but it has a charm and beauty all of its rustic own.

I like unusual "quirky" things. I love photography challenges, because they make me look at things in a different way. The latest scavenger hunt in I Love Photography has been great for me. Thanks, Cricket.

I love shooting nature, wildlife, and things that catch my eye right where I am standing. I love to pick up my camera and go looking for things to shoot. It makes you more aware of the world around you. I love the challenge of trying to make the camera see the same thing that I saw.
I am learning to shoot people but am not pleased with my results yet. Having 2 young grandchildren has given me more opportunity to practice.

What I like most is landscape photography.

What I do most however is closeup/studio/tabletop. Just because I don't have much time, so when I take pictures it's usually late at night, at home.. then I set up a mini-studio, pick an object as a subject, and try to take photos as good as possible, tuning all the lights/reflections/..
A neighbour makes silver jewels as her hobby, and I take pictures of them as my hobby, see:
