Caught in a storm.
These aren't really dramatic, but I took these on Monday while I was offline due to a thunderstorm that hit here in the afternoon.
This was when it started rolling in:
And the last two was being caught in the eye. At least I think it was, lol. It was partly cloudy just above the house for about two and a half hours, and everything returned to normal, with the storm still on the outer edges, but everything was calm, and then later it carried on for a few more hours.
They're not the best pics, I took em with my iphone again. Some of the cloud shots were really cool though, I'm a sucker for strange cloud "formations".

I don't like listening to them, and the lightning scares the bejeebers out of me, so these were taken when it was safe. I was fascinated by the eye though, when the rain stopped I was outside taking pics, because I have never seen what the eye looks like. (which is why I wasn't sure from the get go, and I'm still not).

You're a survivor! LOL I mean you took those photos using an electronic device, it's amazing that you're phone didn't attract lightning.
If that so, God, you would not able to share it here.

(Shhhh, you shouldn't have said that.... I'll never do it again.) Besides the beginning was still when it was rolling in, nothing but sporadic thunder, and the last was when it had calmed down for a few hours without a bolt of lightning in site, or sound of thunder.

I love storms, but we only get minor ones in the UK. Thats the time I open the windows and put some Space Rock on really loud.

For me its earphones all the way. Music blaring to the point where I can hear nothing else, in cases of really bad storms. Most times I can sit in my room and draw, listening to music, and that does the trick.

Such a big risk for taking photos during the thunderstorm.

If anything, it was the clouds that got me out in the first place. I seriously need to invest in a good camera though, one that can take some awesome night shots. We have some really jaw dropping night scenes when the moon is out.
I was not thinking about the risk tbh, Until MrS said I was lucky I was not hit, I had not given it a thought. But it kinda makes me think then, what do storm chasers use to take those awesome lightning pics, if not a set of electronic cameras.
