Bird Pictures

I have been writing a series of articles about some birds in our area. Here are some of the pictures I have taken so far. I would love to see some bird pictures that y'all have taken too!

Now that I don't need the Chickadee's picture, he came up and stared right at me, as if he was asking who ate all the apple pieces.

Nice bird pics! We have a woodpecker as well. Every now and then it sounds like a mob hit, but he makes a cool "tooowhheeeeet" sound every now and then that makes up for it.

One of the perks of memberships is we get to participate in bird banding... I don't know much about birds yet but I have a feeling I will soon

Very nice photos Cricket, animals are always interesting to observe. People need to do much more to protect the animals, nature and environment.

Heck I took these shots more than 2 years ago now (this is an old thread) so I have no clue what I was using back then. I know I didn't have my Canon yet so I was probably using my old Sony DSC-F828 which did not have the option of interchangeable lenses.
