Far off in the distance is the Kerama Islands. In the middle of the image is Okinawa's American Village, Chatan Town. Just another sunset on Okinawa.

I love shooting sunsets.

Nice! You'll have to get wooshed up into that big ferris wheel circular thingy and get some snaps from up top. Apart from some of the problems with the military base, I've heard a lot of good things about Okinawa. Your photo makes it look like a wonderful place.

I consider Okinawans like the hobbits of the shire. The world looks past them, but in their heart they hold the strength to change the fortunes of humanity.

Okinawa has the world's longest lived people. Fountain of youth? Despite any pill or dietary promise you might receive, they have already figured out how to live long and healthy lives. It's amazing, and what's sad is that you will never see their lifestyle reported in the health section of Msnbc or Cnn. The world is almost oblivious to this island. Not only do they live the longest, but I believe they have the most centurions also.
