It was state of the art in 1931 ;P

I don't know what I'm gona do with it just yet. I just dusted off the exterior for now. No idea if it works. Doubtful and I ain't plugin it in to find out. Yet.

A friend of mine was cleaning out her basement and came across it and she knew I'd love it. She has an old tv as well that I might get.

I've been thinking, I might just gut this radio, refurbish the exterior and mod a cheap radio into it. Might be a fun project.

Cool, valve technology, thats pretty cool as sounds are so much richer with valve tech than most others, even with todays stuff

It's a 1931 Crosley model 124 Playboy Cathedral. I'm not sure if they only manufactured these in 1931 or if production continued after that, but I'm going with over 75 years.
