Suggestions anyone?
Hey everybody!
I usually use the good old Kodak disposable cameras to take my pictures. But I've been thinking of getting a good digital camera with some extra features. Like the ability to take ‘high grade’ pictures, then be able to upload the images to my computer. I'd love to hear any suggestions for a good camera that won't cost me an arm and a leg.
What types, names, and where to buy one?
I’d appreciate the help, thanks.

Heya,
All digital camera's will have their images available to your computer either though proprietary software of just as a removable storage device (drag and drop) through USB. So that's a given.
What do you consider 'high grade' pictures?
Point and Shoot cameras and getting better and cheap and smaller. Is size a feature for you? You can always buy a DSLR, the equivelent to a film SLR but digital. It has many features common to SLR's like removable lenses, motor drives and manual settings. But you'll pay over $7-800 for even the cheapest of the DSLR's ranging from 6-10 megapixels.

I finally went and got me a cool camera too!
I got the Samsung S630, capable of 6MP.
I haven't taken too many pictures yet but I am experimenting taking certain pictures, then uploading them into PhotoShop!
Trying to see what I can come up with.
Take care!

Chicgeek,
I know it's been a while and not just a bit, but I do have some photos to share! They're not pictures of me, but of places/things where I live (Pomona, CA). Who would want to see my ugly face anyhow?
Here are two pics that came out pretty well -with my little digital samsung s630.
