Your top three
In your eyes, share your top three photos. Feel free to share raw photos as well as edited files.
Why are these your top photos? Is it your most successful (ie. published)? Is it a good memory of someone you love? Are you just proud of the composition? Or did it take you three hours hanging upside down to get the shot? Share your stories.
NOTE: So we don't have to deal with unruly large sizes of posted pictures and dead links after a month, please share your photos here as attachments. You can do this by clicking "Go Advanced" and uploading your photos.

Too lazy to answer these questions.

I think these are my top three.
The first one was from a shoot I had the opportunity to take part in last summer. We spent the day blowing up dolls and setting up different shots of dolls floating on the pond. It was great. Once they were all blown up they had this kinda weird look in the grass all piled up so I asked Rob to jump in there so I could squeeze off a shot and here it is. I did a little post on the doll he's hugging to make her stand out a bit. Can you guess what I did?
The second shot is of my buddies 2-year-old daughters birthday. I hadn't planned on actually shooting that day but I did bring my camera just incase. Most of the shots I got were your standard fair but it wasn't until the thing was winding down and she started getting tired that I was lucky enough to capture this moment of her and the balloon.
The third shot was a total setup shot. I had a nasty creepshow moment with some carpenter ants one night that really got me pissed off at the bug world in general. After the extermination, I picked some up and set them up on a mirror and got in as tight as I could. It took some severe post work but I think I captured what I was aiming for.

It was tough, but here they are.
The first was just a lucky shot on a gorgeous day - some grasses in Heslington. I just love the clarity and composition with the gate, the building, and the fallen grass.
The second was a recent shot of the Yorkshire Wheel. It was a good time with a good friend in what I still feel is a bit of foreign land to me. It was also a spectacularly clear day.
The third is of my life-partner, Claude, meeting up with some relatives. While it's not the cleanest of shots, I think there's a lot of symmetry and whimsy, and I really like the bright aqua compared to the red.

Here are mine. Don't be surprised if I told you the first one was taken with SE K810 camera phone.
Rest was with Olympus 5050.

These are my picks for the top 3
The first one I picked because I just liked how it turned out. Living in SW Florida at the time, the clouds and sky changed so much, I was constantly outside shooting pics. The colors were awesome.
The second one was of a sunset. I actually did a digital painting of this picture and you really couldn't tell the difference between the painting and the photo. This one was also accepted at dreamstime dot com.
The third one is just one of my fav's of my daughter. She is such the ham

My Best Picks
Up to the present I think these are some of my best.
The first one I took from my car while on a trip.
The second kind of speaks for itself, but I don't remember where I was when I took it.
Last but not least, is a pic of my two glamour girls.

WOW!! Amazing photos, everyone!
These are my favorite landscape type shots. I had to scan two of them, as they were from the pre-digital days.
The first is a view of Lake Tahoe from pretty much the edge of a cliff. The second is a shot of the Pacific Ocean just outside of San Francisco. The third is an old horse farm which is down the road from my sister.
