I've seen some great photos in various blogs: food at a local festival, favorite restaurants, local scenes, etc and wondered if the photographer felt dumb taking those pics. Do you ever feel dumb when you're taking photos? Or have people ever looked weird at you because of a photo you were taking?
Yeah I feel kind of stupid now and then, especially if I am taking a shot of a doorknob or something, but people look out of curiosity more than anything else.
I think it's great to learn to never be offended by your art (or anyone else's for that matter). If someone looks and makes a weird face, they're ultimately the ones missing out.

I didn't feel stupid with what I do or when taking photos in public. There's no reason to feel that stupid I guess... I mean, if it's your passion, you wouldn't really feel that thing but rather be proud of what you are doing.
I will feel quite unconfortable to take photo of dinner etc.. in public places. People may think you just come out of jungle.
why would you feel that? Photos are good memories... Specially when having dinner with friends or family... I wouldn't care taking photos or posing in front of the camera in those places...
