Spring Flowers
Well in effort to use my macros feature I went out and shot some flowers that have popped up.
I was trying to get the subject clear and the backround blurry.
It worked on one pic, but the others didn't.

I have a Kodak Easyshare DX4900
As for the megapixels I used, I have no idea. I know the camera is 4.0 mega pixels but I don't know if that changes if I zoom in or change settings or whatever.
I am a newbie when it comes to photo lingo and taking photos

It is all about focal length... but I really am not the best person to explain it.



This is an example of a Lily Bub with a natural background using focal length and a good lens to blur the background while keeping the flower in focus.



I used a black velvet background for the pink flower rather than using focal length to highlight the flower.




And in this picture... background is all edited with software!!

Just to show that you have options!!
