Has anyone taken pictures of fireworks?
People think I'm crazy! I like taking pictures of fireworks. Some come out great, others don't come out. Has anyone else taken pictures of fireworks?
I would like to see them.
Here are a few of mine. These were taken on 7/04/08.

Very kool pics. You should try using 35mm low speed film and hold the aperture open for 30 secs.

Thanks.
That's how I used to do it. Now that I have the DSLR, I can do it the same way and have more pictures without printing all of them. Now I can just pick the best ones and delete the rest. Also, with the digital, I don't have to worry about changing film every 36 pictures.  |

For some reason the photos are coming really big here on V7N so just putting a link to them....
For my firework photos.... click here!!
They are not very good but I like them. They were my first attempt and it was really windy which made it a really hard task to keep still. The tripod kept taking off!! |

I didn't use a tripod for mine. Last year I did, and I missed most of them. This year I said I'm not using it and my pictures came out a lot better. Next time try it without the tripod. |

Cool shots! I also took some firework pictures, but only with my mobile-cam, and i were not able to see anything on that pics - everything was dark... lol |
