Has anyone taken pictures of fireworks?
People think I'm crazy! I like taking pictures of fireworks. Some come out great, others don't come out. Has anyone else taken pictures of fireworks?
I would like to see them.
Here are a few of mine. These were taken on 7/04/08.

Post them anyway.
Those are only a few good ones out of over 500 pictures. Not all of mine came out good.

Very kool pics. You should try using 35mm low speed film and hold the aperture open for 30 secs.

Thanks.
That's how I used to do it. Now that I have the DSLR, I can do it the same way and have more pictures without printing all of them. Now I can just pick the best ones and delete the rest. Also, with the digital, I don't have to worry about changing film every 36 pictures.

For some reason the photos are coming really big here on V7N so just putting a link to them....
For my firework photos.... click here!!
They are not very good but I like them. They were my first attempt and it was really windy which made it a really hard task to keep still. The tripod kept taking off!!

I didn't use a tripod for mine. Last year I did, and I missed most of them. This year I said I'm not using it and my pictures came out a lot better. Next time try it without the tripod.
