I have just come across this web site on another forum, this seems quite good to me, not only English Directories, there also some in other Languages. Quite alot of directories for USA, Canada, and niche sites.

Really a huge list, but more general directories are showing paid options.

but also including a lot of poor, useless and spam directories in it.

The ratio should be between 90% and 100%. I just went through the data using a bunch of automated methods to remove the dead ones. I also manually looked at the free and article categories as well as much of the paid category. Actually, the article directory changes are so fresh that you will still see some of the dead ones until the cache refreshes.

A list of 16,000 you say? I think i need an army of workers to help me out with submitting to all those. Good list though.
