The difference is I am going to try to maintain quality sites in my directory but also quantity of them too. Many quality directories focus too much on profit or quality (too strict) and end up with very few quality sites in the directory which shun away actual visitors. So far my directory will not drive traffic but it will in the future as it is just a few days old directory.

Sponsored footer links, Albert? Probably not the type of site I'd want to link to if I were trying to create a top quality resource, nor would I sponsor anyone with sitewide links.

Eh, it's a poor template edit job or the theme creator messed up.

Anchor text is missing from the footer sponsor link. I'm thinking a custom design with no links in the footer would fit this directory.

Thanks for your feedback. I have removed the sponsored links all together with the link types that gave visitors the choice to buy footer links. I appreciate the feedback .

It was on purpose because I put a code there so if someone does purchase the footer link it would be easy to change and then copy and paste for the second one. Since the footer links was suggested it lowers the quality of the directory I have removed it.

The OP stated that FREE was for a limited time. This thread is 1 month old so I suspect the thread creator had free links for 1 month or less.
