I like the way you segregate the submission options.

If you are looking for ideas for your new directory, here are a few.

1. You request a maximum of 2 lines for the site description, but are not specifying how many characters. It might be a good idea to either display a textbox with two lines or specify a max number of characters. Many directories are requiring a minimum amount of text for a description. That may be a better idea if you want to do well with Google.

2. The submission confirmation page needs to have a link to get back to the home page or other areas of the site.

3. The directory pages have two submit links, but each does something different. The Suggest Site link is in the top navigation, but does not display the free submission details.

very nice info dudley, thanks. because i dont allow free submissions to submit at root/main level, i make people work throgh necessary categories and then submit from there, only then free submission form will show up. this really saves me a lot of time from identifying suitable categories as most of submitters pick themselves suitable ones.
