600 words - again too long and time consuming for someone like myself who needs to list several 100 urls.

That's why it will probably remain a spam free directory. I think it is an interesting concept.

Slow and steady wins the race, it takes money to make money. You have to advertise your directory. I recommend some banner ads and links on some prominent directories like v7n and Seven Seek.

Cornbread, I have no budget for advertising so I'm gonna take my time and market it the free way.

I won't touch the description, though. Besides, I'm sure people will take their time and write a decent description once I get some PR.
