Corrupt DMOZ editor?!
As I have read this thread from blogoscoped...
This only means that DMOZ is full of corrupt employees...business directory as its the most corrupt “editorial” system EVER and especially since now they are trying to talk about paid links and crap…

I don't think all are corrupt however it may be one or two case and also out of frustration of not getting into dmoz few people write such posts.

You were an editor of DMOZ if i am not wrong, ever in your working experience in DMOZ you heard about someone of your colleagues to be corrupted and accept money for submitting someones site?

As someone who might search DMOZ for web entrepreneurs I would hope the list would be complete but I guess there will be at least one missing.

I've heard many more stories of DMOZ corruption, and seen it in action myself.

My gut tells me there are a few corrupt editors, a few vocal DMOZ critic bashers, and a lot of editors laying low not messing with the metas and not out in the forums bashing any opposition.
Just my gut feeling.

Sure, $50 or $100 or $300 for a real dodgy site.

I will never submit to dmoz again. Everyone knows how corrupt they are.
Problem with dmoz is that there is no strict oversight at the top. It seems like the editors can get away with anything they want. You have some #rap sites that are getting accepted in days while many webmasters have some very legit sites that are waiting over 2 years to get accepted. Everytime i talk about dmoz it only brings me stress lol.

Even to me I will not submit anymore. Did you noticed lately that some are questioning why until now their submission was not aproved.

Yea Adam, that would be great idea, as this would stick it to the power to be at dmoz. If anyone were to do this and it becomes an authority directory, just watch the flocks of people leave dmoz in a heart beat.
