Web-Directories.ws' has done some work on its list of article directories. The list is up-to-date. We have just added hundreds of new ones and cleaned up many of the old ones.

There are separate categories for some niche article directories such as computers, health and business. These can be very useful resources.

If you want to save some time, the best-web-directories.com offers an article directory submission service. They have been offering directory submissions for two and a half years.
