with the latest .mobi TLD being released for public registration, the registry for .mobi (dotmobi.com) reported that more than 100,000 .mobi TLD domains have been registered in the first four days since general availability, with most were coming USA, Canada, the UK, China, France, India, Germany, Japan, Spain and the Netherlands

That is normal. These domain name extension not very popular among end users. Big domainers grabbed it and now their activity is low

joker.nyc is an unknown quantity at this point
i think mobi is good cause right now no .com domain i mean if want a domain but this already taken.
