Question About Selling A Domain Name

So I've bought some domain names, and I'm ready to sell them. But I have doubts as in how exactly to make the transaction with the person I'm selling it to. My domain name registrar is Name.com, so what I want to know is how exactly do I do the transaction? How I "give" the domain name to the person who bought it?

Thank you for reading, any help would be appreciated.

You can sell domain names as directly as using services like SEDO.
Get paid for the domain name first and then ask your buyer initialize transfer on his side and once you have email from your registrar - confirm the transfer.
Good luck

Once the domain is sold you can usually always just push the domain to their account. Tell the buyer to sign up for free at your registrar, name.com, then you can push the domain to their account for free, its much quicker than doing a transfer

Yes that is the best way, but if they do not want you can transfer to the another domain name registrar as I have described above.
That is not difficult but it might take about 5-7 days

Thank you very much for the feedback guys. I like Diligent's strategy the best. I think I'm gonna go with that.

If you need a peace of mind and doesn't want to use Sedo or Afternic, use Escrow.com instead.

How to go about selling it, head over to NamePros. There's a long thread full of tips and advice.
