It's really a matter of who's buying. It's not pronounceable, but perhaps if you can target organizations with that abbreviation (or individuals intending on creating a company name to fit the domain) as purchasers it'll be worth a little more.

That being said, they're not the most common of letters..

I would call this name a semi pronounceable . I am not sure what one can assign to it acronym wise, but it is surely worth paying the reg fee with a domain like this.

It would take some work & I would pronounce it as OH DIG

To me a name like this would be more desirable than a random CCCC

If you want value you need to do more than rely on the fact it has 4 letters. A person is going to remember a domain name like thecatdrinksmilk.com better than random letters. The point is if you have a domain name that was registered in 2002 and does not expire until 2012 then it should have content on it. If you want value then it needs to be established with backlinks. Sure if it was a 4 letter word you could sell higher but even an actual word is going to be worth alot more if it has backlinks and proven establishment.
