Greetings,

Using these names purely as an example, what do you think is better for SEO and customer/visitors if all other things about the websites are the same? Assume that cowbellsales.com is already taken and points to a generic parking/search page with meaningless and unhelpful content

Some ideas from my newbie perspective:

cow-bell-sales.com pros - .com is more usual for visitors to use/remember, I've read a couple things with no real specifics or verification that Google *might* penalize .info already or in the future?

cowbellsales.info pros - no dashes to be mistakenly omitted, a lot cheaper to register, do dashes give a negative impression?

Grateful for any opinions you will share or results if anyone has actually tried both to see which one fared better!
