Changing names
Hi, I'm new here and also very new to website construction. I have a small business for which I wanted a site so signed up to one of those 'free for a month' sites with handy templates etc. I've had it now for 5 months and of course now realize my mistake at naming it with my company name dot com. The site also is not all that SEO-friendly (said they don't do adsense etc.) and I want to create my own site. The problem is (because I'm still new to how things work) - I never paid for my dot com domain name (presume it is dom. name and not URL?) - what do I do? Should I just start from scratch with another host and buy a new domain name? I'm seeing the mistakes now I've made and in the meantime have my other advertising with the website name on it. I'd appreciate some straightforward advice. cheers.
