The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) maintains a list of accredited registrars . Any of the companies on this list can register a domain name for you.

I am still confused by your question. what exactly you meant to ask? There are number of accredited registrar where you can register your domain name.

I guess he wanted to know if you can register to those companies that ICANN accredited. If my speculation is right, then you can register your preferred domain name.

Of course, not all on the list are good registrars. Hence why ICANN reguarly remove ICANN accredited statuses of some registrars.

Go with the big players - Namecheap, eNom, Name.com, Register.com, Moniker - are all good ones.

I agree, go with NameCheap or eNom. I've never had a problem with NameCheap.
