Can't renew domain at 1and1!

I got a domain at 1and1.com. A week ago it expired because the 1and1 payment system doesn't accept my Paypal payment.
They want a credit card added to the Paypal account that is making the payment.

What can I do now? I don't have a credit card!

I am so afraid of loosing the domain because I have spent thousands of hours to promote it.

Is there any other way to get it?

Can I transfer it to another registrar now that the domain is considered expired?

I'm asuming your paypal account is not verified then?

You could apply for the paypal debit card online threw the paypal website. It's free to do this. It's like a credit card anyways. (I don't know how long to get approved) I use it once and awhile but i mainly have payments deducted threw my banking account. Perhaps talk to your parents about borrowing credit card to use only for hosting and then pay them the cash when you have it.

You could use a debit card or virtual credit card. Do you have a savings account? Ask your bank if you can use this to verify your paypal. I'm sure that some saving account has a mastercard or visa logo.

It seems something wrong with their billing and all what you need is get in tuch with them and ask about that. Perhaps they will fix something on their side
