Problems with Godaddy
After viewing some OLD threads I coudlnt get to the bottom of what problem people had with Godaddy? I have been with them for four years now. Can someone fill me in? It looked like it was a problem with hosting (I dont use their hosting) Reading some of the old posts worried me a bit.

I have used godaddy almost exclusivly for domain registrations and I havent had an isssue. I think one of the things people dont like is that they push so many extras. When you purchase a domain you wade thru pages of offers and if your not careful you could sign up for extra things.

I think go daddy's hosting service is terrible. It take FOREVER for my index file to come up.

Ok, so it was just a problem with hosting... I didnt know if it was anything new or not since I had been with them for many years and never hard a major problem with domain registrations

It was a problem with their hosting, not their domain registration. Some of the sites hosted in Godaddy were having trouble getting indexed by Google.
