hi there,
anyone can tell me whats a shelf domain name? i have a vague idea about it but im not 100% sure. The thing is that my boss wants to buy a shelf domain name... do you know where i can have a look at?

Probably means an "Off the shelf" Domain Name. Simply means that a hosting company will have registered a domain name, installed it onto their Name Servers and made it available "off the shelf".
