I use RegisteryFly, although they are currently going through upgrades, so you can't add funds to your account with PayPal.

I would go with an official .es registrars. Here you have a list:
https://www.nic.es/agentes/listado.html

I would choose http://www.acens.com/ or http://www.arsys.es/

I used Acens to pre-register a .es domain. If I recall costs less than 12 euros (cheaper that arsys).

Godaddy and enom are good reliable registars. You may also consider registering with yahoo domains starting at $2.99.

Talk about a bump.

I just registed a domain name at http://www.hostingbay.com.au and the site was up and working way less than an hour!

[edit]
Make that 20 Mins!

I prefer Godaddy.com for the most part, prices are great, admin and service cant be beat. When you have a problem that you cant resolve on your own, just phone them.. 24/7 365 .. always a professional to answer your call.

I have names in about 50 or 60 registrars. I've called some only to realize I'm doing business from their bloody basement. And in some cases their backyard.
I called india once and omg... hehe anyway, thats a long story.

If not for Godaddy I'd stick to local service. There is one local to me, with the contact address being quite prestigious in this capital city.. They double dipped my credit card for a few hundred dollars.. so i went to the office personally.. it was only walking distance, and found it to be a virtual office (YaY) hehe. Virtual Office is basically a fancy post office box. I did get my money back, but it just goes to show you that research pays off in the long run.

Godaddy yes, Enom yes too, but Enom's cost doesnt justify the services. At their prices a small hosting account should be included with each domain.
