Lightbulb Domain Transfer

Can someone explain how domain transfer from one company to another works? What do you need to do exactly to get transfered? Do you just tell the current company that you wanna move away and they give you some security code and you give that code to the new company? I really want to know how it works in principle.

NameFleet is liked by many
Send a message via AIM to NameFleet
Initiate the transfer through the registrar you want the domain moved to.
Be sure the domain is "unlocked" at current registrar.
Be sure email contact for admin is current.

Once you submit the transfer request. You will then rec' an email from the current registrar, which you'll need to confirm.

Fairly simple.

So email address is the key identity right? And how do I accept it by the new registrar?

it is normally sent as an email, which will direct you to go to a webpage and enter in a confirmation code, then ask if you accept the transfer or not

email is the key, this is why I always tell people to keep there registrar email secure, and possibly avoid free emails
