well that actually brings up another question: what makes better sense, to have the tld or the cctld. I think Im accurate here but if I have widget.co.uk and i have widget.uk which is more effective anf findable/searchable to a resident of the UK?
I know with some of the TLD's the restrictions are so intrusive, it's a moot point unless I plan on spending a lot of money on a local presence. However I believe with the .co.uk type of extensions, its a little more laxed.
I would like to have a product presence globally and trying to secure the right domain is somewhat daunting. any advice or suggestions at all would be very helpful.
