But some people have really nice developed info sites, do you not think that it just comes down to how well you market the site?

Sure, in my own view a .info domain can be just as popular as any other domain, all depending, indeed, on how the site is promoted, amongst many other factors, content, off course, being one of them.

I have seen many domains doing very well in the serps for competitive keywords, a search for hotels info will show you a few examples.

I use to be with Stargate for our domain registrations about a year ago. They are good in my opinion and the only reason we moved was to get a better deal on bulk registrations.

The only issue with them was there support hours. A year ago they were not 24 hours. I don’t know if that changed but it seemed I only had time to contact them outside there support hours.

I have seen some really good .info sites out there. I would not worry about it being so low priced.
