only non www version is resolved?
Dunno what's wrong but I bought a domain today, set up space for it, loaded joomla into it and pointed the name servers to it and somehow I get a 404 when I try to go to the domain with the www in front, without the www I can enter it.

Is there anything I need to change in the register? I have other domains at the same account (godaddy) and never had that problem.

Could it be that www takes longer to resolve world wide than the non www version?

Is it just me?

Edited; It's solved now, guess it was the dns that took a little longer for the www version.

I had the same thing happen day before yesterday. Without www resolved in about 10 minutes. With www took over 10 hours.

I guess we just learned that non www resolves nearly immediately and the www versions take a lot longer.

Why would that be?
