Domain Name availability question.
What does it mean when I do an availability search and it says it is taken but a whois comes up with the following? ...

Whois ******.ca
This domain will be deleted on:
null

I would assume it's a private registration then. The owner can pay to have all details hidden, but I am not positive.

It was either...

Just registered (in the process of registration, sometimes takes 72 hours before whois info shows up)
is in the grace period (registrars have to wait 30 days after your domain expires to "drop" it)
or its a private reg.
