Bigrock.com vs Godaddy

Has anyone tried Bigrock.com ? read some good reviews about this company but not sure , they tell it is the godaddy of india . couse it is india based company, but a part of directi.
their prices are competive to godaddy..

what do you think?

godaddy rocks all the way. Has been in the market since 1999

Godaddy rocks in the sense of essentially owning the domain registering industry, and having a well oiled marketing machine.

They kinda' suck at hosting though, at least they did during the 2 years I've had a linux shared hosting account there. Constantly slow servers would be my main complaint. 8-10 times slower than what you can experience at a good host.

I think the best thing you can do is to take a look at all the domain name registrars at the ICANN's website, compare prices and features, and decide for yourself.

I did that myself, and I don't use GoDaddy company.

goodady its ok also you can check HostGator i use the service and its ok, no problem. good costumer service

I`ve never heard of Bigrock.com .I use Name.com and GoDaddy.com for my domains.

I agree with you. Then again I don't live in India so i don't know how big they are.

Godaddy is my choice for Domains only. They market themselves well on t.v. and also by sponsoring stuff.

It was said earlier, it all comes down to price of a domain. Both companies are good in there parts of the world.

But Bigrock.com (directi) is rocking now and
Godaddy goes down After SOPA case they lose many client
But Bigrock client still Love

Bigrock entered in Top domain provider list in few year and i think Directi group now in Top 5

Now that I've seen BigRock's offers, I'm really tempted to try them. I've only used 1&1 a couple of years ago. Some of the websites of the companies I work for are hosted on GoDaddy and the owners seem to be satisfied with the service they get.

I just bought a .ORG domain from BigRock after seeing their Ads on TV and I'm really happy with their service as of now.
I thought of opting for GoDaddy earlier, but my friends were not too happy with it, hence I went with BigRock.

godaddy is very old so i choose it for hosting and bigrock for domain name as its new and not so much effective for hosting.

Godaddy is the domain registry all over the world, so it rocks in the filed of hosting and domain industry.... Off course, BigRock is the biggest company in India and people have the good opinion about it.

I was talking to some random people on Twitter who also said that they use BigRock and they were happy with their service. Why would you say BigRock is not a good company?

Go daddy for sure as i am using there services from 2 years and i am very happy with that.
