dot biz domains
When you see a .biz domain, does it look good to you? I have a web design client who purchased a .biz domain and I'm thinking it looks kind of cheezy. I prefer .com or .net, or even .org.... Is it just me?

I do prefer the traditional .com / . net / .org,
I have a client who owns www.got2haveit.net but prefers www.got2haveit.biz on office stationary..
I think .biz is growing on people but.... long live the .com :-) |

To be sure .com gives the best impression but I wouldn't be put off by a .biz.

I am but off by .biz. I think it makes it sound like a fake company that some kid made up and bought a domain for.

I hate .biz too. When I say read it, it doesnt make me think Business, but more like Show Biz.

So nobody in the Arab world would ever buy a .biz!

Anywayz -- back to topic > I get put off with .biz and why didn't you lot include .co.uk ?
The internet is mainly about informing others and a .biz does not give that impression, .biz sounds too much like a cheap, freadulent and money hungry company and it doesnt sound too good --- imagine www.v7inc.biz or www.google.biz --- it just doesnt go/sound right ... or even www.pc-clever.biz!  |

.biz is a baby, so you don't like babies huh. did .com sound right 10 years ago. spammers use .biz becuz it is 2 dollars cheaper than .com.
