I'm not sure I trust the appraisals of anyone.
Aren't most appraisals based on what has already been done?

I've submitted domains for appraisals and have been told that they are not worth much, and then turn around a month later and sold the same domain for $xxxx.
I don't think any of these guys have a clue.

Isn't based on a lot of personal opinion. I mean there is no real formula, that the industry is based on. Every appraisal is completely different.

With any other commodity there is a standard. In this industry there is no standard.

Anyway, one of my favorite domains DedicatedWebmaster.com is Leapfish appraised at: $1,836
I have another 10GEN.com, appraised at $73

hehe.. my best domain - which happens to be my worst as far as I have no idea what to do with it... is www.redhitz.com it's worth just over $16,000 according to leapfish. Think I could find someone to buy it for a few hundred?!? Think again!!! Leapfish is good for a laugh.
