hi. frm my experience:
1) few yr back until now, domain name are based on keywords. these domains, get ranked faster n better.
2) new pattern, as i realised, and experience, alphanumeric domains ranked even better.

i not sure wherether this is due to SE updates or wat. domain name based on keyword, not necessary wins.

to me, i like to have them both. if foudn a keyword based domain, i will buy in.

Keyword-based domains are good but overdoing it may hurt cos spammers like to load domain names with millions of keywords.
