HELP with web servers and DNS management!

Hello,
I recently bought a domain at telivo.
Not sure how this all works,
I would to host the website on one of my pc's
but i'm not sure how to do this and wether or not it will eat up all my bandwidth.
So the first question is, how do I set up a pc to host my ".co.uk" domain and then how to change the DNS management on the telivo website so that it works with my web server.
Hope all that made sense.

For Domain management, you need to change your name servers, pointing them to the DNS service providers.
You then need to set your DNS records with your DNS service providers like xname.org or editdns.net
Change the a records to your IP address

Do you have a static IP? If not, you need to get a dynamic dns service.

I think, it is beeter for you that you use DNS services.
so, you can set/change nameserver, CNAME, A, MX etc.
