Interesting ... some crazy numbers floating around domains these days:

business.com =

$150,000 in 1997
$7.5 million in late 1999
$360,000,000 this month

Domains have become a buzz word these days......good for the industry.......participant base must increase for the overall health of this industry

Business.com was sold with a lot more than a domain.

Now that was a great article. I reread it a couple times for motivation alone. The shear number of domains that many of these people own is staggering. I own just over a hundred and some people think that is alot, but imagine the amount these guys own and the money they generate from them. This is just staggering when you think about it. I hope I can be as successful some day.

Snapping good names was much easier back then, now there's no way to get a premium expired domain at a bargain price :\

I agree. A bargain price today is still a pretty hefty sum to most of us.
