Where do you register your domains?
Hi
I would like to know where you people register your domains. I am godaddy customer but I know that it sucks a lot and would like to have some professional alternatives.
Thank you!

What makes you say this? I have a little over 100 domains there and never had a single problems with them. For the first time ever I bought 11 domains from a user of this forum and they are at namecheap I dont like there control panel so those are my only 2 so far I prefer Godaddy.

I recommend Namecheap.com, fast support and free Whois guard protection package. If you find their coupons, you may get a discount as well.

Hmm, godaddy and namecheap are ok. Network solutions been great but its a little expensive if compare to either godaddy and namecheap.

That is a good advantage and service feature. Thank you for pointing that out.

Never had a problem with godaddy myself -- what's your problem with them?
I also use 1and1 ... small hosting companies are just too risky!

Hi,
You can try controloye. I have been hosting lots of domain names with them. Affordable and the Customer Service is top notch. My questions, normally will be replied within 24-48 hours.
I fully recommend this company to register your domain names.
Godaddy, I fully support you. Last time I was using Godaddy but it sucks. I even lost a domain name because they did not renew my domain name. Then I change to Controloye and have been with them for more than 5 years.
Cheers !
Vince

Another great Icann Registrar is Dynadot. I have used them for several years and they have an excellent setup and great support team.

Never had any problems with GoDaddy either. Their promo codes are great! If you want more protection for your domains, go with Moniker.

My first domain ever was registered through 000Domains.com, sent them a Money Order for it, and they did a great job with it. But then just accepted Credit Cards, so I went with NameCheap.
I've registered many domains with NameCheap over the last few years and never really had any problems. Love them, best control panel I think.
I also use GoDaddy too though, have abunch of domains there as well. I don't really like there CP, but they are a bit cheaper than NameCheap. I have never had a problem there either.
