Domain Name Transfer Question.

Hi!

I have a domain registered with estdomains.com , I want to know if it's possible to transfer it to another registrar.

I explored my account with them & found it was possible to transfer a domain to estdomains from other registrar by entering a code from the previous registrar + paying for one year of registration.

Then I saw my domain has a secret code called "Domain Secret" with this description:

That's my questions, do all registrars have that feature? I mean with that secret code, can I transfer the domain to any registrar? That's in case I want to sell it for example.

I think you should get an approval from the old registrar so as to transform your domain to the new one.

Yes, while transferring domain, You will get confirmation mail. If you approve it then it will be transfered to new registar in day or two.

This "domain secret" is most likely the Auth Code or EPP that is now required for most TLD's. Your new registrar will need that code in order to facilitate transfer. I suggest you contact the old registrar in order to get the information.

It is always easy idа you are owner. But in any case you will need to renew domain on new registar for at least one year.

It depends on your domain TLD. Some domains can't transfer.
If it is .com, etc, you can do it.
estdomains.com is an ICANN-Accredited Registrars. If it doesn't
allow you to transfer, you can complaint it at ICANN.
