I see a lot of praise for GoDaddy as a registrar on this thread. Other than their competitive pricing, what other reasons do you have for using them?

Personally, I use Yahoo, registered three domains for a two year period at $20 each. Not the cheapest, but doing a DNS report everything seems to check out fine for them - something I consider important, especially as I plan to begin sending a regular opt-in newsletter.

Question: I'm not very familiar with the inner workings of domain names, but I was told its best to have your domain registered with the same company that also hosts your site. Is this true?

GoDaddy is the only choice for me . Actually a few domains of mine are registered under TUCOWS but I am going to transfer them to GoDaddy asap.
