I was with godaddy for a couple years, then billing started to get "charge happy" with my bank account a few times without guilt. I transferred all my domains to 1and1 for the prices and free stuff included. Support not good, but good knowledge base. I read some bad reviews that seemed more like revenge and without merit. Because they are huge, don't expect personal service from a bot. If you are well seasoned, the savings and deals are well worth it.

I always use namecheap and never had a problem with them. I've contacted them with support and they are pretty quick at getting back to me.

I've used NameCheap for several domains. There are actually cheaper places, but cheapest isn't always the best. I've had no problem with their service.
They also offer free WhoIsGuard for one year if you're the type who lives in secret

Moniker is my #1 choice by far. I feel I never have to worry about the security of my names there. I have a lot of names at Go Daddy but that is due to their ridiculous policy of forcing you to stay 60 days after an account push.

Networksolutions.com is the Best but expensive compare to others. Nowadays I am using godaddy.com because I have domains more than my fingers, so I cannot afford to pay US $35 for a domain /per year.
