Domain Prices - Going Up?
Just registered a name at namecheap and found they went up by a bit.

I remember a .com was $8.99 and now $9.21.

Any reason why? US Dollar? or just a price increase?

The .com, org, biz, us and .net contracts from ICANN approved a rate increase. Even worse...they can continue to increase it every year if they want to.
