Here are 2 lists - one of domains about to expire in the next few days, and another of expired domains which were available for registering when we checked.

Domains expiring in the next few days:
seeseephoto.com has a Google PR6
futurepagerank.net has an Alexa traffic rank of 177,525
mvpgraphics.com has 47,558 backlinks according to Yahoo
xzblog.com has 299 backlinks according to Alexa
webtechnica.com has 270 backlinks according to Google

Expired domains which were still available:
friend666.com has 7,756 backlinks according to Yahoo
hotelrelaks.com has PR3, probably real
8bc6ftv31cq.com has an Alexa Traffic Rank of 2,103,618
digitalwebca.com is in the Yahoo Directory
ruthabernethy.org has PR4, may be fake
home-salesman.com has 5 backlinks according to Google

Expired domains are available to anyone, so you can register them through your favorite registrar.

As for expiring domains, try a service such as snapnames.com, pool.com, namejet.com etc

You have to realize that some registrars run differently and are unable to pick dropped domains immediately and you will never be able to get dropped domains using them, Moniker.com would be the best!

You have to realize not everything drops and there are many dropcatchers, but don't despair, money is not the most important thing, it's women. (Jokes Jokes)
