LLLL.com's all gone!!! What does this mean to us!!!

I checked dyyo.com this morning and it shows that there is no more LLLL.com's remaining! dyyo.com says that they update every six hours!

Our script will check at 1, 7, 13, 19 Eastern Standard Time. The result is published immediately.
Also I checked for any recently dropped LLLL.com's and recently there has been no LLLL.com's that have been dropped!

This has also happened in the past and only bad had befallen those who bought LLLL.com with below average letter quality! Most were dropped and the process has repeated up until this point where no LLLL.com's are left!

The only difference between then and now is that there are probably more websites that are using LLLL.com's. Basically there are more LLLL.com's in the hands of webmasters now than back then.

So what???...

If more webmasters are creating websites with LLLL.com's there will be less supply of them, as not all webmasters are willing to sell their domain's with websites already made for them. If there is less supply, according to the Law of Supply and Demand, if there is less supply and demand is unchanging than only one thing can happen, a "price" increase. However with such large quantities still remaining in the hand of domainers it the change is very minute.

There is only one thing that can be said out of all of this. Like a sprinter running to the finish line, he will never return to the starting point, only more and more LLLL.com's will reach the hands of webmasters, therefore supply can only decrease and decrease. As supply decreases and demand is unchanging the price will increase.

This cycle of all LLLL.com's bought and then dropped because, of either the quality or the demand, will continue. However this cycle will stop and the cycle that it stops no one knows. As supply continually decreases this cycle will get longer. This will happen until the cycle stops and there will be very few LLLL.com's that aren't developed that it will be worth more than the registration fee no matter the letter quality, when this happens this cycle will stop!

Regards
~Sheen

mustang73 is liked by many
It means domain prices will only go up.

There a finite number of possible domains. The number of websites increases everyday. With this pattern, no way prices can decrease.

That's true, but like I said the first few cycles will be short, and many will be dropped after not being able to sell for more than registration fee at the 1 year point.

This is because who is truely going to buy xzxq.com for more than $10, hardly any acronyms for that and if you didn't intend on creating a website that matches or has any relation to the domain, ie) dyyo.com, you could still get a better domain for probably the same price. LLLL.com's with rubbish quality are not worth much at this current moment but as more cycles go by, getting longer and longer, it will start to bump up those prices, but new domainers don't quite understand and buy them only to lose money, although not a huge amount it can still put off people from domaining.

dman_2007 is on the right pathdman_2007 is on the right pathdman_2007 is on the right path
Looking at the prices LLLL.coms (even those which contain bad letters) are going for at TDNAM and other Expired Domain Auction services, I don't think LLLL.com's will ever be again available for hand reg. LLLL.com with bad letter combination may not rise in value as much as those with good letters but their value will definitely increase however small that increase maybe.
