HqHost.net

How do you treat this company I mean HqHost.net as a domain registrar?
Are they good enough to start dealing with them?

For me personally HqHost.net as a domain registrar looks good. This company has cheap prices comparing to the other domain registrars and for their clients domain registration is lower than for the other users.

Thanks for your answer, Kron.
HqHost.net offers different prices on domain registration. If you are a client of this company, you may reg a domain cheaper. Say for hosting clients domain registration in .com costs $7.50 and for clients with tariff domains it costs $8.50. It's a fair deal IMO.
What do you think about that?

That offer from HqHost.net looks really and it's fair for their clients. What about the other extensions?

Their not ICANN accredited. That's one negative I can think of. The second one is they don't list the features you get. Do they charge extra for forwarding the domain name? What about masking or transferring? And can you buy in multiple years at time of initial purchase?

I'm not comfortable buying a domain from anyone but the top registrars, all of which are ICANN approved. Its just not worth the risks IMO. I've seen problems come up in billing, domain renewals, and lots of problems when transferring.

I use GoDaddy.com 99% of the time now. I've delt with over 30 registrars & domain resellers. GoDaddy is just easier and their prices are more then fair. My backup registrar is IYD and NamesCheap. IYD is the most expensive but my company has a good relationship so i get extra benefits by going with them (and they do 301 redirect right!). NamesCheap is pretty solid and cheaper then godaddy, but I've only used them twice and never dealt with their support. Stay away from Network Solutions (Netsol)... they've been cought buying your names while using their using their search, forcing you to be with them.

Hqhost.net is reseller as other web hosts. And the most distinctive their feature is: they provide separate accounts as for domain names as for hosting and this is always good sign
