Game System Domains

Opinions on

mysonypsp.com
myplaystationportable.com
mynintendods.com

would be appreciated.

I'm curious as to whether a search engine would parse the relevant keywords?

They would not parse the keywords. Check out my domain names and SEO blog entry or the SEO forum on this site.

robert adams is liked by many
Here's the deal;

if you wanted to find sites about sony play station,
what are you going to type in the search engine,
sonypsp?
no you are going to type in sony or playstation

sonypsp is not a word, also, nobody is going to type it in. so therefore the search engines won't know what it is.

sonyplaystation is also not a word and other than a mistake , nobody will type that in to a search either,

however, if your domain name is sony-psp.com
at least the word sony will come up. (not too good, many returns on that word)
if your domain name is sony-playstation.com then when someone types in
sony playstation, the search engine takes the word sony and the word playstaion and finds your site because it sees the hyphen and separates the words.

internetmarketingresearch.net is not something anyone would type in.
internet marketing research is.
so therefore this site will get hits for each word in the name as well as hits for all the combinatioins of those words.

luck,
robert

I'm surprised that you don't know the PSP is sony's new handheld gaming system. Hence the name. PSP = Play Station Portable...
